Description:
I sing and play guitar both solo and with a full band in and around Lower Broadway. I play a decent number of gigs at hotels and restaurants, so I'm able to maintain a very eclectic setlist that ranges from jazz to rock to country. I also play lead guitar and sing bgvs as a sideman with a separate cover band on Broadway. Both of these gigs focus mainly on cover tunes, with the occasional original thrown in by request.
Resume / Bio:
I'm originally from Upstate New York, which is where I first began my studies in music at about the age of 15. I moved to Nashville in 2012 with a degree in jazz guitar performance, arranging, and composition. I played lead guitar as a sideman for many years with a ton of different independent artists in Nashville. Throughout this time I was also able to tour extensively with said groups throughout the south, the midwest, and the northeast. I was fortunate enough to record on a few albums with said artists as well. In 2019 I transitioned fully to playing cover gigs at hotels, restaurants, and bars. As businesses started to reopen with capacity restrictions in late summer of 2020, I ended up playing a lot more solo acoustic shows. This allowed me to really develop my voice, as well as polish up other aspects of my performance in that environment.
