Live Performance Wage Scales lists the minimum wage scales our members use for various types of live performances. Please note: The old Live Performance Wage Scales expired April 30, 2024. The new Live Performance Wage Scales took effect May 1, 2024.
Touring Pension Agreement allows musicians to direct a portion of their compensation to the AFM-EP (American Federation of Musicians - Employer Pension) fund. This allows touring players to build their pension and saves the employer money on payroll taxes.
Road Scale includes minimum wage scales while touring throughout the United States and Canada, as well as details on accommodations, per diems and payments.
AFM L-1AFM LS-1 and AFM T-2 are the three different types of live contracts that members file with the Live Department prior to the date of performance.
AFM L-1 is the most commonly used contract for local live performances such as concerts and various special events such as weddings, parties and corporate functions.
AFM LS-1 is the live contract to use when a member is receiving pension contributions.  Please refer to the Form LS-1 Q & A for details.
AFM T-2 is used when traveling for live performances outside the Nashville area, anywhere within the United States or Canada.
